On Saturday, July 6, 2024, following the performance of “Cud” directed by Grzegorz Wi\u015bniewski, the 21st Wilam\u00f3w Gala took place, honoring the prestigious Wilam\u00f3w awards for 2023. The event was held at the Wilam Horzyca Theatre in Toru\u0144. The Wilam\u00f3w awards, known for their unique statuettes made of bronze, stone, and silver designed by Zbigniew Mikielewicz, serve as a special recognition for individuals and institutions supporting the Toru\u0144 theater scene. <\/strong>

This year’s laureates included outstanding individuals who significantly contributed to the development and promotion of theater. In the category of Theater Education, the award went to Bo\u017cena Kilaszewska from the Environmental Engineering School Complex in Toru\u0144. Jacek Rutkowski from the MAT-BUD Multi-Branch Company in Z\u0142a Wie\u015b Ma\u0142a was named Friend of the Theatre. The most popular actors at the Wilam Horzyca Theatre were Joanna Rozkosz and Micha\u0142 Darewski.
ANIRO had the honor of sponsoring the award for Best Actress, <\/strong>which was received by Joanna Rozkosz<\/strong>. The award was presented on behalf of ANIRO by Vice President Daniel Kaczmarczyk. This special recognition for our company, which has been involved in the development of culture and art in the region for many years, was greatly appreciated. During her acceptance speech, Joanna Rozkosz delivered a touching address. <\/p>\n

“I would like to thank you for being so different, which allows us to create such a diverse theater. This is always a challenge for us, and I am very grateful to participate in these challenges. I appreciate all the relationships I have in the theater, with all the staff from every department, and I thank them for their work. I am thankful for the directors who come here and present us with challenges. I am grateful to my beloved team, with whom I work; without them, I certainly wouldn’t be here. I would also like to thank one very important relationship in my life, which is the relationship with my family, who are here with me now. They have been at every premiere since I have been here at the theater. Thank you very much, and I wish us another wonderful season, full of emotions, new challenges, and discussions.” <\/em>“Wilamy awards are not only a symbol of recognition but also an expression of gratitude from the Toru\u0144 theater to those who are not indifferent to the fate, development, and artistic level of the stage. Since the establishment of the awards, 79 statuettes have been presented to individuals and institutions supporting the theater’s activities. We are proud to have supported this unique event and to have contributed to honoring one of the most important figures in the Toru\u0144 theater.
