We present another project completed by the Engineering Department: a control system for a fruit juice pressing machine for one of the Fruit and Vegetable Processing Plants in the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship.

The engineering work related to the project implementation included an inventory of the wiring remaining from the previously used PLC controller with HMI panel. The next stage involved developing a program for press control and visualization on the HMI panel. Both stages took a total of 3 days, during which the press operation was also adapted to the client’s requirements and guidelines.

The automatic press operation consisted of loading fruit pulp, followed by the pressing and juice extraction process. Along with the automatic pressing program, an automatic press washing program was created. The washing process was similar to the pressing process. The differences consisted of opening/closing the appropriate valves supplying/discharging water/juice to/from the press.

Despite a minor issue (faulty brake on the motor responsible for press basket rotation), the project was completed quickly and efficiently.

Previously, at the same plant, ANIRO’s Engineering Department also created a control system for a machine packaging bottles into crates.
