We are proud to announce the completion of our latest project, which involved the design and construction of a control cabinet for a dredge pump. This is a key piece of equipment used for extracting a mixture of gravel and water from a body of water or a mining site.
Technical Details of the Latest Project
Main Components of the Control Cabinet
The control cabinet manufactured by ANIRO includes an Emotron FDU series frequency inverter, model FDU48-1K0 20DE, with a power rating of 500 kW. This powerful frequency inverter drives the dredge pump, ensuring reliable and efficient operation. The choice of the Emotron FDU results from ANIRO’s long-term cooperation and trust in the brand’s products, known for their high performance and reliability.
The control cabinet and the dredge pump will be installed on a floating auxiliary barge. This barge will cooperate with the main barge, where the control room and a second set consisting of a cabinet with a 500 kW Emotron frequency inverter and the main dredge pump, manufactured by the barge producer, will be located.
Control System
The control cabinet manufactured by ANIRO on the auxiliary barge will be connected to the control room on the main barge via a deployable fiber optic cable with a length of up to 800 meters. In the control room, the operator will have access to a control console equipped with an advanced LS Electric iXP2-1000 touch panel.
Using this interface, the operator will be able to easily control the Emotron frequency inverter and the dredge pump, performing functions such as start/stop operations, speed adjustment, and monitoring of other operating parameters. Additionally, an LS Electric XGB controller will support the control process.
Wiring and Commissioning
The project does not end with the delivery and installation of the control cabinet. In the second stage, ANIRO will carry out the wiring work on the barge and handle the commissioning of the entire system. Our team of engineers will ensure that all connections are made according to the highest standards and that the system operates flawlessly from the very first start-up.
