The client, a leader in the production of steel reinforcements and fencing panels, faced the challenge of efficiently cooling PPM300 power modules in its production facility. Traditional air-cooling methods proved insufficient due to increasing energy demands and changing climate conditions. It became necessary to develop a liquid cooling system that would ensure optimal operating conditions for the equipment in an industrial environment.

Solution

ANIRO delivered a comprehensive solution that met the client’s expectations:

Design and implementation of a liquid cooling system:
A closed-loop cooling system using water with glycol additive was developed, ensuring efficient heat dissipation and protection against corrosion.

Heat exchangers were used to minimize the risk of contamination and increase overall system efficiency.

Implementation of PPM300 modules:
Each PPM300 module generates a current of 150A, while the complete cabinet consisting of three modules reaches 450A. Each module dissipates approximately 3600 W of heat, resulting in significant thermal loads across the entire installation.

The modules were fully integrated with the liquid cooling system, ensuring reliable operation under demanding industrial conditions.

Adaptation of technology to environmental requirements:
Hermetically sealed control cabinets with IP55 protection rating protect the installation against dust and other contaminants.

The installation was designed from the ground up based on the client’s requirements, allowing full adaptation to the specific needs of the production facility.
