Automation of the process of degreasing and drying components in the technological line for hot-dip galvanizing.

Implementation
The completed systems included:
kwadrat the loading and unloading of hanging components on traverse beams, designated for further processing in the hot-dip galvanizing line;
kwadrat control of flaps opening and closing the degreasing dock;
kwadrat control of dampers responsible for directing exhaust gases from the zinc-heating gas furnace to dry degreased components;
kwadrat control of exhaust fans in the drying cycle.
kwadrat control of the chain conveyor for traverse beams in the dryer.

Applied devices and equipment.
The following devices were used to accomplish the task:
kwadrat SIEMENS S7 1200 freely programmable controller,
kwadrat 79 discrete PLC I/O (input/output) modules,
kwadrat 4 analog inputs for the PLC,
kwadrat HMI panel KTP 700,
kwadrat traverse presence sensors – PEPPERL&FUCHS brand,
kwadrat for MODBUS communication purposes,
kwadrat 10 iS7 frequency converters,
kwadrat 2 sets of DBU units with braking resistors, (fans in the drying cycle),
kwadrat In the SAFETY system, a PILZ safety relay of the type PNOZ5.
kwadrat LSIS switchgear and protective devices.
