New Requirements for Industry: Success of the Control System Modernization of the Production Line by ANIRO
The growth in global energy demand presents challenges for the industry that must be met by industrial automation. ANIRO, as a leading provider of technological solutions, has just completed the control system modernization project for a double-tandem production line for a client in the rubber processing sector. This project not only highlights ANIRO’s technologically advanced approach but also its ability to effectively manage complex engineering projects.
Innovative Technological Solutions
The central element of the modernization was the implementation of advanced technologies and components, ensuring not only reliability but also energy efficiency and ease of operation. As part of the project, ANIRO chose to use the SIEMENS S7-1515 T FS CPU and ABB DCS880 series drives, which worked in synchronization, ensuring optimal performance of the production line.
Precise management of every detail
Equally important was the comprehensive management of logistics and coordination of activities. ANIRO had to ensure that the modernization work was carried out with minimal disruption to the client’s regular production, which required not only technical know-how but also the ability to respond quickly to changing conditions and needs. The electrical design was carried out using advanced EPLAN P8 software, ensuring clear electrical schematics and clarity throughout the project. As part of the modernization, new control cabinets and panels were also built based on RITTAL solutions, ensuring the durability and reliability of the control systems.
The integration of the SIEMENS S7-1515 T FS CPU and ET200SP I/O enabled flexible and efficient management of the production processes, and the implementation of ABB DCS880 series drives, working in synchronization, allowed for precise control and optimization of machine operations. Additionally, modern switching devices and modular LS Electric components, as well as LS Electric air circuit breakers, were used to increase safety and ensure stable operation.
Comprehensive power distribution was implemented using RITTAL system solutions, enhancing the stability and reliability of the power supply. The distribution of 24VDC voltage, along with UPS power supplies and WIEDMULLER power strips, ensured operational continuity even in the event of a power failure. As part of the modernization, the entire wiring system was replaced, and new cable routes were built using the BAKS system, ensuring optimal organization and safety of the cable infrastructure.
The modernization of measurement systems included replacing tachogenerators and potentiometers with advanced incremental and absolute encoders from KUBLER, which improved the precision and reliability of measurements. The creation of new PLC and HMI software was a key element of the project. The software was optimized for the specific needs of the client, and its implementation, along with comprehensive staff training, ensured the smooth deployment and operation of the new system.
The main power busbar supplying the control cabinet was also modernized, ensuring reliable and efficient power for the entire system. Thanks to the determination and commitment of the ANIRO team, the project was successfully completed. The new solutions not only improved the reliability of the production line but also significantly increased its energy efficiency. The client can now enjoy a modernized system that is ready to meet future production challenges.
ANIRO, as a leader in industrial automation, continues its mission of delivering innovative solutions that not only meet but exceed customer expectations. The example of the modernization of the two-roll production line is a perfect example of the synergy between advanced technology, experience, and professionalism, which form the foundation of every project executed by ANIRO.
