Electrical apparatus are components of power systems and electrical circuits that do not generate or transform electrical energy, but are used for its switching, protection, measurement, and control. They belong to the group of electromechanical, electromagnetic, electronic, and hybrid devices, and are designed to operate in low, medium, and high voltage installations.
