On October 22-23, 2024, a two-day training organized by ANIRO took place in Chorzów, conducted by Tomasz Łukaszewski. The training was aimed at one of the largest companies specializing in telecommunications and multimedia infrastructure, a leader in radio-television broadcasting and wireless transmission systems. The goal was to expand knowledge on managing electrical devices and improving the quality of electrical energy in the context of dynamic technological changes.
During the session, the parameters of electrical energy quality and methods of protecting devices from the negative effects of network disturbances were discussed. Participants were introduced to practical solutions for improving energy parameters, such as active filters and reactive power compensators. The training covered issues related to the impact of distortions on devices such as transformers, motors, and capacitor banks, which is of particular importance in the telecommunications sector.
Participants, including engineers and electricians responsible for maintenance and process automation, also had the opportunity to exchange experiences and present cases of disturbances occurring in the network. The theoretical lectures were complemented by a practical section, which allowed participants to acquire valuable skills in improving the efficiency of device operation.
