Modern control cabinet for dredging pump

We are proud to announce the completion of our latest project, which involved the design and construction of a control cabinet for a dredging pump. This is a key device used for extracting a mixture of gravel and water from a water reservoir or mine.

Key components of the control cabinet
The control cabinet manufactured by ANIRO includes an Emotron frequency inverter from the FDU series, model FDU48-1K0 20DE, with a power of 500 kW. This powerful frequency inverter drives the dredging pump, ensuring reliable and efficient operation. The choice of the Emotron FDU is a result of long-term collaboration with ANIRO and our trust in the brand’s products, known for their high performance and reliability. The control cabinet and the dredging pump will be installed on a floating auxiliary barge. This barge will work alongside the main barge, which will house the control room and the second set comprising a cabinet with a 500 kW Emotron frequency inverter and the main dredging pump, produced by the barge manufacturer.
Control
The control cabinet manufactured by ANIRO on the auxiliary barge will be connected to the control room on the main barge via a retractable fiber optic cable up to 800 meters long. In the control room, the operator will have a control panel equipped with an advanced touch screen, the iXP2-1000 from LS Electric. This interface will allow the operator to easily manage the Emotron frequency inverter and the dredging pump, performing functions such as start/stop, speed adjustment, and monitoring other operational parameters. Additionally, the XGB controller from LS Electric will provide support in the control process.
Wiring and Commissioning
The project does not end with the delivery and installation of the control cabinet. In the second phase, ANIRO will conduct the wiring on the barge and handle the commissioning of the entire system. Our engineering team will ensure that all connections are made according to the highest standards, allowing the system to operate flawlessly from the first startup.
