XGR series constitutes a system of redundant controllers, where the automatic process cannot be interrupted under no circumstances. Synchronisation of CPU takes place via the fiber optic connection. Total capacity of the program is 25MB, including 7MB for program, 2MB for data, 16MB for flash memory. Switching speed amounts from 4.3ms up to a maximum of 22ms. The system is based on a ring configuration to prevent line interruption errors, ensures monitoring of the network, protocol and error channel, using flags. The programming takes place using a language conforming to the IEC 61131-3 standard (LD, ST, SFC, IL).
