Modernization of control system for link welding

kwadrat replacement of the old controller,

kwadrat replacement of electronics modules and replacement with a controller with a short cycle time,

kwadrat replacement of the measurement system of the travel of the upset bracket,

kwadrat distributed structure of inputs / outputs on the site – 1 station on PROFINET in the operator’s panel,

kwadrat the AEG Thyro-A 1500 power controller with the PROFINET communication module,

kwadrat KP1200 graphic terminal,

kwadrat KP300 text terminal,

kwadrat PROFINET communication,

kwadrat 1 station with a database of selected parameters of each welded cell,

kwadrat remote access by connecting the controller to the factory Ethernet network.

The project consisted of developing complicated software for PLC controllers in order to properly control the operating currents of the frequency converter.
Tests of the control system were executed (PLC + frequency converter software) on the customer’s test tower with a nominal load of 40 tons.
Two projects were completed for a total of 7 vessels. On each ship there were 4 mooring winches and 2 mooring and anchor winches.

In 2015, 9 projects in the field of electrical installation were commenced at the construction of a new copper acquisition block at the KGHM steelworks in Głogów. Within the scope of the company’s work, all 9 projects were:
 

kwadrat assembly of cable routes,

kwadrat laying routes of power and control cables,

kwadrat performance of all required electrical measurements,

kwadrat connection and checking its’ correctness,

kwadrat start-up assistance

The team implementing the projects numbered about 70 people. Works on this type of object are non-standard works, carried out at high altitudes. Power cables have been routed in previously prepared cable routes at a height of up to 60 m from ground level. It took one year and was successfully completed on time.
